Over a Century of Service in Albuquerque

The Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque is a local service club that thrives on fellowship and service, with a bit of networking on the side. We are local club of Kiwanis International, whose mission is Improving the World one Child and on Community at a Time.

Started in 1917, the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque was among the first Kiwanis clubs in the United States and we remain committed to helping our community in any way we can. Though our primary focus is on children, we understand that multiple aspects of life might need our support. Our members are willing to pitch in where we are needed.

The Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque has regular meetings with informative speakers, socials, and service projects. New members are welcome! If you are interested in joining us for a meeting or a project, reach out. Thanks!

Internationally Connected | Locally Focused

The Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque focuses primarily on local projects that improve the lives of children and families in New Mexico. We are also part of a global organization and support the work of Kiwanis International because we understand that children are in need all over the world. Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members, and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time.

Currently, Kiwanis International has more than 550,000 members around the world. That includes adult and business clubs like the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque, as well as youth programs from K-Kids to Key Club and more. There are Kiwanis clubs in over 80 countries. Each community has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children in their own area. That can include fighting hunger, improving literacy, and offering guidance. Kiwanis clubs host nearly 150,000 service projects each year.
